3 – 21 September / exhibition extended until October 5
On the occasion of Paris Design Week 2020, Paradisoterrestre is proud to participate in the solo exhibition Allégories by Pierre Gonalons at Hôtel de Soubise, one of the most beautiful Parisian mansion.
Upon invitation of the Archives Nationales, Pierre Gonalons presents two important set-ups in the Prince’s salon and room within this historic venue, creating a compelling dialogue between twenty contemporary design pieces – the results of his latest collaborations – and the sumptuous 18th Century interior scenery.
All Around (2018) and See Through (2019-20) collections, designed by Pierre Gonalons for Paradisoterrestre will be exhibited, covered with Métaphores fabrics.
SPUMA fabric gives a new look to All Around Chair, Armchair, Sofa 160, Sofa 220. Chair and armchair are presented for the first time in the rotating version.
One year after the preview of See Through Armchair in Paris on the occasion of AD Intérieurs 2019, the collection is completed with the two and three-seater sofas, covered with CYCLADES fabric by Métaphores.
Allégories is a unique opportunity to visit a historic architectural gem further embellished by contemporary design by one of the most influential international designers.
Pierre Gonalons has been collaborating on a permanent basis with Paradisoterrestre since the relaunch of the brand: in addition to having designed various collections and fabrics, he is creative director of Paradisoterrestre gallery in Bologna since 2018.
