On the occasion of the 5th Art City Exhibition, which will take place in Bologna from the 27th up to the 29th of January 2017, Paradisoterrestre collaborates to exhibition project of two young artists’ – Calori & Maillard – Causerie – Conversation by producing an artwork dedicated to the figure of Carlo Scarpa whose title is Altabella 23 – Bring water to the sea.
The art work is designed by both Calori & Maillard on exclusive basis for Paradisoterrestre and it is presented as a series of Murano glass vases in a limited edition specially produced by Glass Master Simone Cenedese.
The initiative by Paradisoterrestre is a foretaste of what will be presented in Milan on the occasion of Miart and Design Week 2017, meaning to be a marriage between art and design in respect of Gavina’s philosophy, who considers art and culture as a source of inspiration for every single object.
This exhibition project Causerie – Conversation by Calori & Maillard, which can be visited from the 25th of January to the 5Th of February 2017, is supported by Bologna Musei /Mambo Museum of Modern Art in Bologna in collaboration with Paradisoterrestre.
